CCP members have been running a “farmers night school” in Marteng Village, Garze, eastern Tibet which trains its attendees in ideological education, poverty alleviation and loyalty to the leadership of China.

Authorities claim that the school helps villagers understand government policies and learn agricultural techniques. The primary purpose is likely to be to cement loyalty to China and the Party.

Tibet Watch has been able to acquire several photos from inside the school.
